Changes to how benefits are paid

Just thought I would share I phoned up as my partners ESA was not paid in at midnight like normal to be informed from the 1st of feb the way certain benefits are paid has changed to a manual payment via a bot and instead of going in at midnight can now go in between 8am and 5pm. The bot is set to make payments every hour so 1 day you may get paid at 8am and your next payment may go in at 5pm.  This may affect some people if they have bills go out same day as benefits paid. Anyway not a rant or anything just possible useful information I did not think to ask which benefits were affected, so maybe someone else can find out.

Interesting. Thank you. Always worth waiting until next day to check if benefit in bank account just in case of computer glitch before taking action.
