lastminute.com refusing to re-send refund voucher to an alternative email address

Hello, this is my first post so apologies if it is not in the correct category.
I had a refund voucher from lastminute.com. Unfortunately I did not save it anywhere and then the email account I was using (my student one) got deleted so I can no longer access it. So far my fault, but life was difficult at the time.
I logged in to my lastminute.com account and added an alternative email address, and validated it. I then spoke to someone using their chat function who said they could re-send the voucher there, but I would need to send the invoice and credit card statement to customer services. I did this, and they replied saying I have to email from the original address as it's a security issue. I cannot do that.
Are there are rights covering me, that I can cite to get them to re-send the voucher to a different email? It all just seems so bizarre, considering I can still log in to my account and everything is there (booking etc), except the actual voucher code. Any advice greatly appreciated!

Ask them if there's another way you can prove your identity. Presumably they can invalidate the voucher code they originally sent out?0
