Seeing Electric inside sander?

I can see the electricity flashing inside my orbital sander when using it on the ceiling, it is working perfectly but i don't like seeing the blue and white sparks inside the motor area as it is distracting to me.
This is my first sander i think it is called the bosch pex plug-in sander.
I have emailed bosch but still waiting for a response!
Enjoy everyday like it's your last!

It will be the brushes, not unusual to see sparks inside a motor.

There is often a suppressor across the brushes to limit the arcing. They don't eliminate it entirely, so little blue sparks are to be expected.

Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Working on the ceiling, so could dust be getting into the motor?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
