First Direct £150 Improved Switch Bonus

New, improved offer of £150 just out!
"one payment per customer or joint account"
Similar wording in the Nationwide switch offer meant that a couple with accounts in their own names and a joint account as well could switch all three and get 3x switch bonus! Looks like that'll work with this bank as well.

My points were that First Direct had a new offer, and that a couple might be able to get three x switching bonuses by switching three accounts to first direct? Which might be of interest to serial switchers on this Forum, I imagine 🤣0 -
No because as soon as you open the sole account you've held an account before and so can't then get it on a joint account.RN61 said:

"This offer is only valid on the first sole current account and first joint current account you switch to us...."

How long does FD keep records of old, closed accounts?
If my old account was 30 years ago, would they notice?0 -
You can try - but anecdotally FD have a very long memory. There's been stories on here of people with similar circumstances to you having being declined the switch incentive based on the terms of the offer.keiran said:""Sorry, we can only offer this to people who haven’t previously held an account with us""
