Visa Debit Chargeback

Hi 

I paid a deposit of £4500 for some paving and landscaping to a company using my Visa Debit Card. I have the Visa Debit receipt. The company never started any work and didn't give me a start date. I have contacted my bank to ask them to seek a chargeback. I wondered how this might be achieved as the company has gone out of business and is is being liquidated.

Any advice would be gratefully recieved.

Given the final line of the paragraph there, it wont be achieved. You would need to register as an unsecured creditor with whoever is liquidating the company. 

Contact the recievers.

Well according to another thread on here it doesn't matter if they are in liquidation or not.  The chargeback is paid by the landscaping company's bank - apparently...

The fact they have no funds makes no difference to you getting a refund.
