Yes  -  I did not realise there were two posters - my bad.
  • So, I'm moving house in about a week. (Not got the completion date 100% confirmed but all the solicitors seem to be in agreement at last. I didn't need this hassle on top!)

Obviously I need to notify various people about this to avoid missing paperwork etc.

Here is what I assume I'm supposed to do:
    • email CCBC at CCBC@justice.gov.uk or CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk or both?
    • email DCB Legal at info@dcblegal.co.uk and yasmin@dcblegal.co.uk (Yasmin is the legal representative on the paperwork, her email doesn't seem to be public but it's a reasonable guess)
    • email UKPC at DPO@ukparkingcontrol.com
    • update my registered details on the mcol site.
    • update log book and license.
    • get a royal mail redirect in place.
    • should I add in my new address to paragraph 2 of my defence? (I intend to send it off today)
Anything I missed or shouldn't do?

Emails will be along the lines of: My name, previous address, some proof of ID and claim number followed by instructions to remove the previous address and to use the new address going forward. Should I cc in DCB Legal and UKPC together so they're less likely to "miss" it? Thanks.

    Yes

    Yes

    If possible yes

Definitely , absolutely most definitely !! Can usually be done online

    Yes

No , There is never an address in P2

No , because the UKPC one should be a separate data rectification notice directly to the DPO , which is the only DPO you are emailing

  • I'm still waiting to hear that a DQ has been sent or be told that the claimant wishes to proceed. I'm checking mcol daily but still no update since "defence received" on mcol and a letter in the post saying the claimant has 28 days to respond.

I realise I have no way to know when the claimants 28 day time limit to respond is up as I don't know when they received my defence.

As it's approaching 28 days since I received the letter in the post announcing this I just wanted to double check there is nothing I should be doing in the meantime, besides prepping my witness statement.

If I hear nothing by post or on mcol then it means the claimant hasn't responded yet and that's not my problem, right? I don't need to be chasing anyone up about it?

You have nothing to worry about. No need to chase anyone.

I can only suggest that you keep checking your MCOL Claim History and as soon as you see that the CCBC has sent a Directions Questionnaire to you, you are ready to download a DQ, complete it and fire it back to the CCBC, remembering to send a copy to the Claimant of course.

I've bookmarked those two threads regarding the public consultation and I'll add to the discontinuation thread once I get confirmation from the court, if no one beats me to it. Now the stress is gone I'm more than happy to do what little I can to return the favour.
That's really good to know, as we need everyone back to add voices to the upcoming Public Consultation.

ANOTHER UKPC / DCBLEGAL ONE BITES THE DUST!

    Congrats: scam over.
