How long do searches take?

Hi,
I was wondering how long searches are currently taking to come back? If it helps, the property is in Luton.

Have you asked your conveyancer? They'll be best placed to answer.0

I paid for my search pack on the 13th January, presumably they applied for them within a couple of days. I was told they are due back on the 15th February. I'm in North East England though, it's different depending on where in the country you are. Some councils will be quicker, others slower.1

So I'm wondering if it's the searches that are holding it up (should have been applied for on 20th Jan)0 -
