Garden studios problem

Options
Hello I’m not sure this is the correct place to post this but was the closest category. I’ve had a garden studio installed - it’s ‘portable’ one. Right from the start they placed it too far forward (moved the boundary when I went on the school run) and once I knew I let them know I was not happy and let the head office know.

Anyway they carried on building (as they wouldn’t leave it out in the rain) and although they have agreed to move it back the foot to where it was supposed to be, they want a first instalment which is thousands of pounds and 80% of the total cost anyway. I want them to move it first, but they are going bananas saying ‘what if I change my mind again’ (ironically, I’ve been sure from the start this was a problem). Now they are saying I pay up or they come and collect it, which tbh is probably the sensible thing for me to do apart from the added stress of them being in my house again and finding another company.

They are saying they have a money back guarantee so that if I am not completely happy with it (after I’ve paid the first instalment) then I’d get my money back anyway. I can’t see anything that says this in the correspondence with me directly, it’s just something that it says on their website. Where do I stand legally on this? I don’t see why they won’t just sort it and then let me pay. But if I did pay and something goes wrong (judging by their customer service so far) would it be a rough time getting my money back?
