Combining postage for two items paid for separately

Hello, I have a buyer who bought and paid for two items separately.
If I combine postage, will the tacking cover both items? Or do I need to send separately? I have the option to combine on the postage page...

Follow up, I only seem to be able to combine for Royal Mail, when I try to go through the pack link portal to use Hermes I can't figure out how to combine0
-
Final q, honest, if I went off the ebay delivery portal and sorted postage direct with hermes, could I put the same tracking number in for both items, or would that set off alarms?0

I've never been able to combine once paid but I do it anyway but just manually add the same tracking details to each sale if they show seperately. Obviously if I've been able to send a combine dinvoice before payment then it shows as one combined sale an donly one tracking number is required.

Thanks Soolin, do you go out of the system to buy the postage then?0

I always use to combine the items for shipping. Then refund the net overpaid postage costs paid. A great PR stunt for your business. If you want repeat customers.1

Don't forget on ebay you don't get your fees back on the returned part.

Ah, ok, that's where I was getting stuck, fine I'll tweak the packlink for the first item then immediately add the same tracking number to the second.soolin said:One tip though, you must add the tracking (I'm calling it tracking but I only use delivery confirmation) to both at the same time - if you delay then the system notices it is the same tracking.

Soolin, what is RM changing about stamps? What have I missed? I have a lot of old unused stamps - they don't sell easily on Ebay so I have decided to use them up.soolin said:RainbowDrops said:Thanks Soolin, do you go out of the system to buy the postage then?printed via ebay Packlink , although with the news about RM changing their stamps I'm going to have to make more of an effort to use the stamps I have in stock up .0 -
