so unless anyone has the magazine I cannot see a way to find out the details!

Readly are doing a one month free subscription - so looked up Issue 6 of Best uk.  Short stories on the theme of pets, 12 00 word max. As nanto3girls said the closing date is 11th March.  Probably worth looking at a back issue for style etc.
