Hi All,
On the working from home tax allowance (£6 per month I think), where on the tax return form do I claim it?
Thanks

Tailor your return - employment section - change income - do you wish to claim any expenses - other expenses and capital allowances.0

Kudos to leaving your tax return until after 8pm on the final day btw 🤣0

Just the £6 per month, I haven't claimed it before and I am told I can do this from March 2020. Where about is it in "tailor your return"?0

I have quoted you the steps one by one.JPin said:Just the £6 per month, I haven't claimed it before and I am told I can do this from March 2020. Where about is it in "tailor your return"?0 -
Not on your 2020:21 return you can't.JPin said:Just the £6 per month, I haven't claimed it before and I am told I can do this from March 2020. Where about is it in "tailor your return"?
You would need to amend your 2019:20 to include the claim for that year. Which was £4/week not £6/week and probably just for a few weeks so maybe not with the hassle.
The deadline for amending 2019:20 returns is today.0 -
Thanks but inside "tailor your return" there are 3 pages and I don't see your option.[Deleted User] said:

Have a read of this thread - where screenshots were provided. As Dazed says, though, you can only claim for 2020/21 on that year’s return.JPin said:
