Selling my NAB shares

Can anyone give me some advice on selling some shares, the shares I hold are for the National Australia Bank (NAB)
I have a share dealing account with the Halifax but they don't seem to deal with Australian shares. I just need to sell the shares as a one off deal, I'm not looking to open and actively use another broker other than the Halifax. Preferably a UK dealer, I just need to sell and obviously have payment in UK pounds. If anyone can give me some advise it would be much appreciated. Thanks

Do you hold these electronically or in certificated form?
99.9% of UK brokers won’t deal with foreign share certificates, so you will struggle to sell these.
Also, how many shares do you hold? I only ask because if it’s only a handful of shares they might not even be worth selling after fees, commission etc."If you aren’t willing to own a stock for ten years, don’t even think about owning it for ten minutes” Warren Buffett

This comes up occasionally for Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CAB) so searching for information on how people owning these shares managed it might help e.g., https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6026153/selling-commonwealth-bank-of-australia-shares . Seems one poster possibly found two brokers in Australia - Openmarkets and Link Market Services - but didn't report back on their success or failure.afisher said:Can anyone give me some advice on selling some shares, the shares I hold are for the National Australia Bank (NAB)

Does NAB's website have anything to suggest? Possibly to be found in its investor relations section.1 -
I hold them electronically, I only hold 90, I sold 2000 10 years ago with rbs which you could do back then, my current holdings are the dividends that came after the sale as it took that long to process. I will probably contact nab for advice on who can process the sale for me. Thanksgeorge4064 said:Do you hold these electronically or in certificated form?

You could try a company called Computershare, as I got a statement from them regarding a small cash balance following the sale of NAB shares quite a few years ago.1
