Microsoft Xbox Hacked and Money Stolen

Microsoft Xbox Support are totally incompetent, inept, unprofessional idiots. A hacker managed to change the email address attached to my gamertag and somehow made purchases through my associated PayPal. £180 in software purchased. I have had to call Xbox support 8 times now, I get conflicting information, I have been hung up on and even had my open case closed. Nobody has managed to understand my problem and somehow get it through to fraud dept. I am currently supplying the IP address and other information for the second time - in the hope this operator will actually sort it out.
Does anyone know a number or email I can complain to - there is no ombudsman for digital gaming etc - it's driving me mad! Please help!

Have you contacted your bank and reported to action fraud?
Bank might be able to help, but as its gone via PayPal might be harder.
Also add two-factor authentication to your account How to use two-step verification with your Microsoft account
Do this with ANY account with a stored balance or stored payment method0 -

Paypal has to force you to enter codes from a text message or similar, there was a change in rules a year or two ago and financial services have to use more secure log ins.Farway said:jon81uk said:Have you contacted your bank and reported to action fraud?
