All suppliers have essentially the same variable tariffs, set at (or very close to) the current Ofgem cap. The cap is due to be revised in April, with the value of the cap being announced in February (supposedly on the 7th).Many, but not all, suppliers are also offering fixed tariffs. These are all more expensive than the current cap and many are more expensive than the expected April cap.The April cap is expected to be announced in eight days and lots of people are waiting to see what it is before making a decision on a tariff for the summer months.N.
