Package or flights?

Please don’t be fooled into selecting based on searching the cheapest flight price. You could end up booking with an overseas based online ticket seller who will create more problems than any perceived saving are worth.

I’d have a look at packages from British Airways Holidays, Kuoni or one of the Dnata group businesses like Travelbag.  

Also might be worth finding a good independent local travel agent, or local www.travelcounsellors.co.uk to look for other options.

We've used Hayes and Jarvis for the Maldives previously found them to be ok.

Don't be fooled into booking anything apart from All inclusive , it's incredibly expensive otherwise.

Plane transfers are pushed as an upgrade , it can often take longer to get to the islands than the boats . Both only run during daylight so if your plane is delayed you are stuck on the main island all night.

Virgin holidays were adding free extras to their holiday bookings like dolphin boat trips and premium upgrades.

BA are the only airline doing direct 10 hour flights , others have stopovers which can increase total travel time to 24 Hours or longer
