PC Electricity cost

I have a PC with 450watt PSU, Ryzen 5 3600, 16gb ddr4 ram, rtx 3060 12gb graphics card, 240gb SSD, 1tb hard drive, usb 3.0, gigabit ethernet.  Speakers, wired mouse, wired keyboard, Benq 28inch 4k monitor.

I dont play many games with it.

How much electricity does it cost per year as i run mining and online banking, online shopping, surfing, music listening etc.  I use it for 6-11 hours per day and we are with Octopus Energy Flexible Avro till May 2022.

You can get a plug-in gadget from Amazon and other places that will tell you voltage, current, etc. on an LCD display as you use it.

Mining will run the graphics card flat out, so whatever that has as it's maximum power, then add (say) 100W for everything else, then multiply by the number of hours per year, divide by 1000 to get to kW, and multiply by your unit cost.

GPU mining is not efficient, the cost of electricity is too high and the difficulty is also too high.  It only makes sense if your electricity is free (solar).  It was at breakeven eight years ago when the price spiked to $1000/BTC, but the difficulty is so much higher now.

Just because the PSU is 450watts does not mean the PC uses 450watts,  I have a 3950X and a 2060 Super with
64GB Ram and watercooling powered by an 850watt PSU.  It still only draws 87watts on the desktop.

Obviously loaded up it will pull a lot more but not 850watts.

You need to measure it yourself, probably with and without mining. As above, buy a cheap plug-in to do this.
