Huge amount of tyrolean render to clean, repair and repaint

I have a huge amount of tyrolean render to clean, remove lose paint, repair and repaint, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on the best methods to use - as I only want to ever have to do it the once ideally!:-). I read about hand pump spraying vinegar as a first step to get rid of algae etc, which sounds like a great option. However, I really want to be sure it will be the most effective product I can use. Pressure washing seems to be discouraged (I dont have pressure washer at the moment), but i need to get the loose paint off too (which is going to be incredibly tedious to do with a scrubbing brush, especially on the upper parts of the house). And im dreading the painting ... with what will feel like acres and acres of stippling or splashy rolling :-). Any lessons learned would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.1 -
What repairs are there?1

hoping to reveal areas needing repair, once i have removed the flaking paint and algae and general muck and grime .. but i can easily see one long thin crack in the render, from the ground, as well as areas where small chunks are missing.0

Small areas can be repaired by mixing up a wettish sand/cement mix and flicking it on with a soft brush.1

Ahh excellent .. ill try that. Was wondering how i can try and get the same effect without going out and buying one of the spraying machines ... (which i imagine also make a massive mess in the hands of the inexperienced! :-))0

When using the gun you need to mask up windows etc. They can be a bit tricky to use, often big blobs come out first. Getting the mix right helps a lot. You can practice first on an old board.
Using the brush for small bits is probably easier.
