Yes,  hence me asking. From the time the kids grew too old (or believed they were too 'cool ' - so once they went to Secondary school ) to take a rucksack to school that had a separate bottle holder on the outside and instead had bags where you put the bottle inside the bag, I never found one that didn't leak - which would be all over their books/work, so couldn't risk it continuing to happen.

I'm going to give some of these suggestions a go though
The best time was when I got on to a packed tube train in London and got my water bottle out to drink and then the lid just completely came off and I poured water all over my face and top. I don't know how people didn't laugh. I would have laughed if I had seen that! Lol.

This happened to me a few weeks ago while on the bus,it was really hot so I decided to have a drink while the bus was moving which is never a good idea, the driver slammed his brakes on and I ended up with half a bottle of water all over my face and chest , luckily I was sitting at the back so no one noticed but I did have a little laugh at myself 😂

Well I did try with the teen re the water bottle, I got the following response ....'I want a Love Island one'. Wonder if she'll be as keen if I tell her to buy it out of her wages. Maybe it will amaze me and I'll rave about it!!!

I use the systema bottle as well. Added bonus that it’s freezable so I take it out frozen on hot days and it’s still cold to drink at lunchtime.
