Hmmm it appears these are non debit card payments.

How did the £20k come into your account initially? In or as part of one lump sum? Or in parts in amounts similar to the amounts that have come out of the account?

It's quite painful to establish what happened as OP has not provided all the information we need to assess the issue. At least we have a bit more information now, so thanks for the screenshot. Hopefully we can see answers to the other questions I posted yesterday.

    I now have additional questions:

I had £20,000 taken from my bank account

All this occurred on 12th and 13th November 2021

The 7 transactions on the screenshot add up to £9,946.02 and look as if they happened in short order on one day. Is this the total sum taken, or were another £10K in other transactions, perhaps on the second date?  It matters to be precise.

Ans: It was one lump sum in August, the difference between the sale of my house and the price of the flat I purchased.

Ans: That was only one screenshot of the statement to emphasize how they appeared.

It is very difficult to answer every question as there are so many coming from different people.

So how much was taken in total, and how much was taken on what date?

All the questions you have been asked will help us get a better understanding of what has happened, and how it might have happened. We are trying to help.

It's up to you whether you would want to answer the questions on an Internet forum, but even if you get more confidential help (via Citizens Advice, for instance?), the questions need to be answered if you want to stand any chance at all to have the matter reviewed. The FOS will have much the same questions, and if you don't answer them, they will simply go by what the bank tells them.
