Viveye - anyone heard of this company?

Wasn't sure if this is the correct place to post this question, so forgive me if it isn't.

Has anyone heard of, or have any experience with, a company called Viveye? I ordered something from them last weekend and although I received an email saying it's "on it's way", no update as of today. Their phone number comes up as invalid so that caused me a bit of concern! I've paid by Paypal so am not too concerned about losing the money as they've been good in the past with refunds.

I've just sent them an email so fingers crossed that gets a response...

They're almost certainly shipping from China. The payment policy has information saying you may be charged customs fees. The English is bad throughout their site, and 5-10 working days for shipping is a long time for shipping within the UK. Plus, the address in Glasgow they give is for a coffee shop.

It might arrive (10 working days is two weeks, so they're still within advertised timescales until next weekend), but who knows if you'll have fees to pay or if it'll be anything like what you ordered.

Could you let me know where you saw the information about customs fees, please? I didn't see that anywhere. I did see that the street address was Glasgow, didn't realise it was a coffee shop!

Actually, I've just found it. Sigh. Knew it was too good to be true!

It won't let me copy and paste directly from the site, so you'll have to find it yourself.

The jurisdiction clause in their terms refer to the state of Florida. Coincidentally, that Glasgow address is pretty much in the area of Mount Florida. But I suspect they're being run from somewhere else completely.

Search the address/post code & you will find it is the Scottish Glasgow. 👍

Yes, and as @user1977 already linked, Mount Florida is an area of Glasgow, Scotland. ;)

Thanks for the update - it must be disconcerting for you to find out some scallies have used your business address for their nefarious dealings. (They don't appear to have a Companies House registration so you can't complain there)
