Length of time - for money to go from old, closed account to new switched account

Money sent in error today (Old account- Halifax. New account - HSBC) Has anyone had any experience of how long this will take, please? I switched last year, so it will bounce to my new one, just worried about time scales. I'm assuming that I don't need to do anything!

From past experience, the redirection is more or less instant if the original payment sent to the old account is sent by faster payment

I've done this a couple of times, including where there the switched to account was also switched (so one extra hop) and it took a minute or so.2
