Car clamped by bailiffs - PCN sent to wrong address

Thanks for the advice everybody.

I've payed Brisow & Sutor this morning.

Next steps fill in the PE2 and PE3, get a solicitor to observe me signing them, and inform the DVLA of my change of address.

 Anyone know how long its likely to take before they remove the clamp?

I wouldn't have paid them until they had someone there to remove the clamp immediately.

Maybe also check out the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 ... there are limited circumstances now where wheel clamps are legal. (I'm not saying it was illegal in your case - I don't know, so I've pointed you to the legislation where you could check this out if you wanted to).

To be fair the clamp was off pretty quickly once I'd paid.

Don't forget to make sure your drivers license and V5 are updated with your coreect address and hope there's nothing more in the pipeline.
