Switching bank accounts - new bank want to tell my employer

I'm in the process of filling in the form for a switch to HSBC, from a Natwest account i use for billing (not my main account), but HSBC have said on the application "We'll also tell your employer that you've changed your bank account details." however I do not want or need them to do this - my wage goes into a completely different account! Is there anything i can do?

If you don't pay your salary into that account then they won't notify your employer as there will be nothing to 'switch'.
