                                  in Credit cards

                    Hi!
I have had an Aqua card. In November, I had a heart attack at work and everything bounced. Aqua have now closed my card and forwarded the account onto a debt collector but they are recalling it so I can pay it off with them. Now - here's the thing. They're happy to recall as it is a genuine reason for not paying, but they won't reopen my account, not even with a lower limit after I've paid off, etc..
Any ideas what I can do? The last few months have trashed my credit rating and I've only just got back to some form of strength and am already stressed!
Thanks!

If you need another credit card, apply to another sub prime lender, such as Vanquis. But make sure to clear in full.
If declined, leave it a while, leave it until you get the debt cleared.0 -

Thanks! I'm hoping I won't need it, it was more just the case of it being sprung on me from getting out. Shocked me how quickly they closed it, that's all.Deleted_User said:If you need another credit card, apply to another sub prime lender, such as Vanquis. But make sure to clear in full.
