Has anyone had any dealings with this awful company?
I see some mixed reviews on Trust Pilot.
I probably should have known better but I ordered a pair of jeans a month back through Emmiol. They have turned up very poor quality and nothing like the picture
I've requested a refund - and the firm, (through a very weird "type above this line") automated email reply system,
have advised I keep the item as "a cost effective gift to a friend/family member or colleague/neighbor".
Instead they have offered a $10 gift card for a £38 purchase!
I have replied saying this is against UK consumer law and I am entitled to a full refund and have heard nothing.
I know there is a plethora of these new online firms springing up now - many based in China or Asia, selling cheaper trendy gear and aimed at younger shoppers
I'm really concerned a lot of kids my lose cash buying through these terrible sites.

Claims to be governed by the laws of Ireland but judging by the whole impression is likely being run from China or similar.

There is nothing UK about this company, and even their address is given as Hong Kong on their website, so I'm afraid you have zero rights against UK consumer rights.Istanbullou27 said:Has anyone had any dealings with this awful company?

If you paid with PayPal or a card, you could contact them, but this will probably mean you'll have to send the jeans back at your own expense...
Personally I'd put it down to experience and know to use UK companies next time. Anything bought from a non-UK company is a gamble.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)1 -
That is exactly what the website says:pinkshoes said:
