Insurance for second home

We are fortunate enough to have been able to buy a second home. So far, all the insurance options I have come across require it to be checked on every 7 days when we are not there. I have seen articles talking about policies that only require checks every 14 days (including on a couple of insurer’s websites, but when I call them they don’t seem to offer this!). Does anyone know of insurers that do offer insurance for second homes and require the place to be checked less frequently than every 7 days? Also, if anyone recommends any insurer for this kind of insurance, we would be interested to know.

TIA  :)

My brother has a policy for a house that is currently occupied that does not require weekly checks. It's with Fresh Home Insurance.
