Hi All
Am having problems getting my HP PSC950C printer/fax/scanner/copier to use non-HP refills. Originally I bought some from IJT which eventually I managed to use; but now I have bought new refills from Asda & whilst the colour ink seems to have been accepted, I get the scrolling message on the printer 'ERROR: INCORRECT black cartridge installed' & cannot seem to get it to print at all. I've looked at the HP website & tried cleaning the terminals but still getting this message & unable to print anything. I don't want to pay another £18 for a HP cartridge if I can help it as they guy at IJT told me they re-use HP cartridges anyway - so how on earth does it know the difference??
Any help would be most welcome, thanks if you have any ideas - I am ready to chuck it out of the window!!
