BT refuse to honour up grade letter

I have received an offer from BT to upgrade my current package to their HALO3+ this ends 31/01/22. They’ve refused saying it was a mistake and many customers have been refused. Can they do this?

Yes, if it was a genuine mistake. It becomes murkier if they've used it as a baiting method, but not really sure how you prove that. You can of course complain and see where it leads.0
