    The reason is that you might do something wrong and compound the problem. But one current issue you have is that your 2020/21 return will be late as well if you don't get a move on (the deadline has been extended to 28 February 2022). Accountants are busy at this time of year, but if you are not confident in doing it yourself, talk to an accountant urgently.

    Yes you are.
    So the OP would be well advised to do a 'back of the envelope' calculation for what he might owe, and pay it before he even submits?
