•    This Competition is open to persons aged 18 years or over who are UK residents only. Proof of age and identity may be required. Entry to the Competition is free.

•    The Promoter is Attheraces Limited, a company incorporated in England with company number 03896585, whose principal place of business is at Millbank Tower, 21-24 Millbank, London, SW1P 4QP.

•    Employees of the Promoter and Sky UK Limited are not eligible to enter the Competition.

•    Only one (1) entry per Competition is allowed per person and no more than four (4) entries per household. If the Promoter has reasonable grounds to believe that multiple entries have been made by the same person, all entries by such entrant will be disqualified from participating in the Competition or receiving any prize.

•    Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when entering this Competition. These terms and conditions will apply for the duration of the Competition.

•    The Promoter will use each entrant’s personal details for the purpose of administering this Competition and the winner’s personal details shall be used for the fulfilment of the prize and to administer the ATR Player subscription.

•    To take part in the Competition, an entrant must answer the Competition question correctly and submit their name and email address before 11:00pm GMT on Sunday, 20th February 2022. Under no circumstances can a user submit their entry via e-mail.

•    The Competition prize winner will be determined at random.

•    The prize comprises of an Apple iPad 2021 (10.2"), Wi-Fi, 64GB model (“Tablet”) and a 6-month ATR Player subscription (from 1.3.22 – 31.8.22). The winner agrees to the ATR Player terms and conditions, which can be accessed here.

•    There is no cash alternative to the prize and unless agreed otherwise in writing the prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-endorsable. All components of the prize must be taken together.

•    No warranties (whether express or implied) including but not limited as to quality and fitness for purpose are given by the Promoter in respect of the Tablet and are hereby excluded to the extent permitted by law.

•    The winner will be notified by email. It is each entrant’s sole responsibility to ensure that their contact details are up to date. The winner will be required to verify their age, identity, residence and other requested verification information to the satisfaction of the Promoter before they are eligible to receive a prize. Any public announcement (including on ATR platforms (TV, online etc.)) will be pending verification unless otherwise stated and should not be considered final confirmation. Please allow up to 28 days from winner’s address verification to receive the Tablet.

•    If any entrant is not able, for whatever reason, to accept a prize, verify their identity to the satisfaction of the Promoter, has been found to have breached these terms and conditions by the Promoter or cannot be contacted within 48 hours of determination of the winner and/or confirm their ability to use the prize within 48 hours of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that entrant (and their eligibility to receive any prize under the Competition) and award the prize to another participant, if applicable.

•    Entry into the Competition constitutes permission for the Promoter to use the names and photographs of participants (as winner) for publicity purposes at their discretion. The winner may be required to participate in such publicity without further compensation as the Promoter reasonably requires.

•    The Promoter reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The Promoter further reserves the right at its discretion to substitute the prize with another prize in the event the original prize offered is not available but shall be under no obligation to do so. The decision of the Promoter in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

•    The Promoter shall not be responsible for lost or misdirected messages, unavailable network connections, failed incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, online failures, hardware, software or other communications failures or circumstances affecting receipt or entrants ability to participate in the Competition or any circumstances affecting a winner’s ability to access or use their prize. The Promoter is also not responsible for any act or default of any third party suppliers or for any reasons of Force Majeure.* (*Force Majeure" means: a fire, flood, lightning, storm, earthquake or other similar geological or metrological event or condition or Act of God, national emergency, disease, epidemic, pandemic, war, act of terrorism, riot or criminal act or damage, strike, lockout or other industrial action, Royal death or any other event beyond the control of the Promoter and its group companies). 

•    Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor any of its directors, employees or other representatives (nor the directors, employees or other representatives of its agents, sub-contractors or group companies) will be liable for damages, in contract, tort or otherwise including negligence, arising out of or in connection with the Competition and/or the provision of the prize.

•    The Promoter’s decision is final and legally binding on all entrants in relation to all aspects of the Competition including (without limitation) allocation of the prize and no correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with the Competition’s rules or terms and conditions will be disqualified and will not be eligible to receive a prize.

•    The Competition is governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
