Multiple credit checks for SIM deals

Currently, I pay monthly for 5 SIM cards which I arranged for my family. I would like to switch all the cards to a new provider with me continuing to remain the account holder. I understand that I may have to have 5 separate contracts and be hard-credit-checked for each? I think this is perverse and an abuse of the process; the multiple checks would have a serious impact on my credit rating which I guard jealously. They also trivialise the very system that businesses rely on so much. Can anyone advise how I can get round this? Thank you.

You can't, if you're going for separate contracts.
It'll have minimal impact on your credit rating with any mainstream lender if you have a decent credit history.0 -
I don't want separate contracts but it appears that is the only option available.0
