Nationwide switch offer (how many times)

Options
Evening all, just reading on the latest switching offers and noticed that for the Nationwide offer it doesn’t state that you aren’t eligible for the bonus if you’ve received it since such & such date. I got the bonus last year and switched to Lloyds, does this mean I can switch back to Nationwide and claim the £100 again?

Who can get the bonus? Anyone, unless your existing account's in debt collection or has been frozen. You must also be switching from a non-Nationwide account.”

I'm pretty sure the t's and C's say you can only claim the offer once.

For free, non-judgemental debt advice, try: Stepchange or National Debtline. Beware fee charging companies with similar names.

Clause 4. And I think the last bullet in clause 10 confirms (referring back to clause 4).

You're reading the summary on the MSE News page. Which never tells you the full story.

You need to read the terms on the bank's page.

Where, as kimwp states above, you need to read clause 4:

    4.  This offer is only valid on the first sole current account and first joint current account you switch to us, even if we withdraw this offer and launch it again in the future

Yeh, I have a Nationwide current account and they are very strict and mean in my experience!  You can only do things once and you can only have selected products if they agree, etc. I'm thinking of leaving because even though I'm a loyal customer, they don't seem to care about that - which I know is what Martin says.

And as kimwp above, said, if you've already benefited you can't do it again. See here -

    https://www.nationwide.co.uk/current-accounts/help/terms/current-account-online-switch-offer-terms-and-conditions/#when-wont-i-qualify

    Under - 'when won't I qualify', point no. 10
