Hi, I am getting rid of a dishwasher and cannot find the part I need to stop the other end of where is connects into. This is an image of where it connects (I have the cap end for the other connection). It measures 2.5cm across. Does anybody know which part I should buy?

I suppose the "correct" way would be to unscrew the hose connector and replace it with something like this: https://www.screwfix.com/p/mcalpine-t23u-multifit-blanking-plug-white-40mm/96079Just check that you buy the right size.Alternatively, trim a cork to size, bung it in and give it a couple of wraps of gaffer tape for good measure. There shouldn't be any appreciable pressure of water coming out of that connector under normal conditions, so it's only really needed for belt 'n' braces. Of course, this does necessitate the consumption of a bottle of wine in order to obtain the cork, but hey-ho

And be very careful you get a bottle with a cork, otherwise you may find you need to drink the screw top bottles you bought in error too1
