Everybody has a different view on what is meant by *Roadworthy* we once recovered a car after it hit a bus shelter at 8.30am on a busy road.
The Police examiner came along and checked it out - he found the front brake pads were neatly laid out in the boot. The drivers defence was that he had removed them as they were worn and he did not want to damage the discs.
Was the car roadworthy? Well he thought so.
