I have had a quote of over £1700 from Solidor, it seems this style of a fully glazed composite door isn't widely available. I'd like a composite door but would prefer to pay less, can anybody recommend somewhere else to try please?

Do you have any local independent companies near you?  Might be worth a look (it's also worth asking local double-glazing places if you have any - some of them will also do doors).

I've tried several local who seem to buy in their doors from other suppliers and fully glazed don't seem to be in the ranges I've found so far. Solidor is the only one I've spotted with this amount of glass in.

Blimey, I hadn't even thought it could be supply only!  I'm assuming it's S&F.  Nowhere near  Manchester, I'm in East Anglia.

Ok no problem . Distinction do a version of them doors called ONE LITE . I have trade status but that wouldn't cost me more than about £750 inc vat supply . I think distinction factory are south Yorkshire but national suppliers . I use a local supplier but that's their price for this door

No they didn't!
