118 Money - Payment due date changed

I have a 118 Money Credit card, never missed a payment, and have kept the account in good standing.
They've emailed yesterday to say they're changing the payment due date from the 1st, and pulling it back 3 days to the 28th. I, like a lot of people am paid the last working day of the month so this kinda screws me a bit. Can I challenge this with them? It feels a little unfair!

If they allow you to amend the due date, then yes, you can change it. If not, you'll just need to go with it.
If it's screwing you a bit, look urgently at building emergency reserves to cope with situations like this.3 -
It's certainly worth giving them a call. I'm not familiar with that card specifically, but certainly every card I've ever had, you can always contact them to request a change of payment date from whatever the default was.

I get your point but it's only 1 month where you'd get caught out if you are paid on say the 29th and they take payment on the 28th. After that month, you'd have the money in the account for the card payment before pay day as it wasn't taken out a day or two after pay day (assuming you didn't spend it in the month)1

Perhaps screwed was over-egging it a bit. It's inconvenient for sure, perhaps I'll just have to suck it up and pay early (on time technically!) this month and request they bring forward to the 1st ongoing. In effect, paying the 28th this month and the first next month, if they calculate statements by then etc.0

Request the statement date be moved to 3 days later, this will then move the payment date back 3 days.
Probably doable on the app or phone.1 -
Just as a follow-up, I wrote to 118 Money and explained my payday, and how all my DDs are set for the 1st so I know exactly where I am each month. They were happy to keep the due date & therefore DD date at the 1st in my case, so kudos to them for being accommodating.3

That's good to hear. In my experience most credit card companies are pretty accommodating in this respect, it's good to hear of your success. And thanks for coming back to update us, that's always appreciated.
