What happens to my £240 credit when my Supplier Shuts Down?.

I just received an email from British Gas today telling me that I have been transferred to them as my supplier Bristol Energy has gone bust. I was on the January 23 deal with them. Of course I am aware that my gas and electricity will rise a bit and await further information from British Gas. My last monthly payment to Bristol Energy was paid on January the 4th and after that was paid I received my quarterly statement to that date that after payment I was £240 in credit. This is because I am a pensioner and qualify for the Warm Home Discount which has been paid to Bristol Energy. My question is, have I now lost this credit including the Warm Home Discount or does this pass onto British Gas?.

It will eventually be reimbursed by the SoLR. Expect to wait at least 3 months.
