British Airways - still not received a voucher

Hi all
I requested a voucher for flights that we had booked to Lanzarote on 31st Jan - requested vouchers on 8th Jan. Still nothing received. Check the booking reference and it says vouchers will be sent in 48 hours but still waiting.
Rang BA today to find out what was going on and eventually got through. He told me that sometimes the vouchers fail but when i want to rebook i just need to state my previous booking reference number. (it will be a future travel voucher, so i will need to call them to book..)
This doesn't sound right to me. Has anyone else had this, where they haven't received a voucher or it has taken more than the 7 days stated? (currently at 16 days)

just a guess, but sometimes admin is dealt with in order of travel date, as you were not due to travel for another 7 days it is possible it is further down the queue than those whose travel dates have already passed or are more imminent1

When cancelling online we got our vouchers within minutes of the request by email.
Havent had your problem but have had various issues with BA... seat bookings being lost on changed flights, unable to access bookings online, being told a change creates a charge when it should have been a refund. With 20-30 minute wait times its not been fun having to fall back to the phone (and some things you cannot do by phone - check in and choose seats in the 24hrs before) but to date they have managed to see whats gone wrong and deal with the matter appropriately. Seems like the sheer volume of changes going through are stretching their systems and people.0 -
Thanks. Last time I had vouchers they arrived in 5 mins. Which is why I'm worried about it this time. Just doesn't make sense, what I was told yesterday.
Seems many people are having problems with them at the moment. Can't help but feel they are making it as difficult as possible so people don't both rebooking. Expected better from them to be honest0
