Credit voucher for Monarch!!

I know, I know, it happened nearly 5 years ago!!  However, having a paperwork clear out and came across a credit note given by Monarch for a disappointing holiday.  It is for £400.  Before I tear it up and put it in the bin, I thought I'd see if there is any chance I can get any money reimbursed for it?  I know the answer is more than likely a big No, but at the same time, putting £400 in the bin is also scary!

Thank you.

Prepare to be scared then! Sorry but you cannot get blood from a stone or money from a business that ceased to trade in 2017 and whose administration was concluded last year. If it is any consolation no unsecured creditors of Monarch Holidays got a penny, so you haven't lost out by not acting sooner and the CAA who bonded Monarch do not refund compensation payments under any circumstances so time to throw it away and look forward to your next holiday
  • Your only hope of getting anything, is to list it on eBay as Monarch “airline memorabilia” and see if a collector will buy it !!! You might get a couple of £s….

You could always frame it and hang it on the wall ,make a good talking point .
  • Thank you Alan_Bowen, that has made me feel a lot better knowing I wouldn't have got anything anyway!

It was worth a try, thank you all.  (off I go to check Ebay, or buy a hook!!)
