Online company refusing refund

I purchased an online coding course, from a company I have just discovered is based in Wyoming, USA. I approached them about a refund but they said they have a no refund policy.
Does the cooling off period which is offered in the UK not protect my right to a refund as I am based in the UK? (The company have staff remotely based in Europe).

UK rights only apply to UK companies.
If there is something specifically wrong with the course e.g. they have changed it to a date you can no longer attend, then it might be worth contacting your card provider if you paid by card, but otherwise you might as well just attend.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Surely coding standards and practice are going to be the same worldwide. Why would it matter where they are based? As others have said, the laws of the country from which they operate will apply, not those of the country of the purchaser.

What is the reason for wanting a refund? Is it just change of mond or is there a problem and they are not providing what was offered.
