Where to holiday with 7&8 year old?

Options
I'm looking for ideas of where to take my daughters on holiday this summer. We went to Devon last year and they loved the arcades but soon got bored of the beach. Looking for suggestions of areas to look at preferably somewhere with an arcade, but also other things that won't cost a fortune in admission costs. I'm really stuck for what to do with them. They love going to parks especially if there are zip wires, they love going to the swimming pool and one of them is interested in going on a boat ride.

Would appreciate any suggestions! :)

Haven parks and butlins have pools, usually with slides. They also have multiple activities for kids and playgrounds

Knowing where you live and how far you are willing to travel may get better responses.

And your budget - from what I've heard places like Center Parks may fit the requirements but at a considerable price...

A proper old-fashioned British holiday ... Scarborough = beaches, Sea Life Centre Peasholm Park (water chute and small railway, lots of walks), Alpamere water park, boat rides from the harbour, lots of arcades, open top buses, castle, the mere (tons of ducks to feed), Luna Park (permanent funfair with rides)

There's a Parkdean resort on the outskirts - Cayton Bay, that would be fairly affordable, and has facilities of its own - pool, soft play, evening entertainment, crazy golf, arcade etc

Then there's all the Yorkshire coast, where every place is kinda the same but a little bit different. Scarborough is the busiest and great for kids.
  • North Wales is great! They have Zip World which as so much to do. Somewhere around Llandudno or Snowdonia would probably be best

How about Warmwell?  It has loads of activities (including ski-ing) and you are close to the Jurassic Coast for fossil hunting.
