Hi All,
An update on my post. My complaint against my energy provider has been concluded, they have reinstated the original credit meter having removed the prepayment meter they forced upon me in November and credited all charges relating to the execution of the warrant. They have apologised for their failures and offered £250 compensation as a goodwill gesture which I have accepted. They have recalculated my electricity usage based upon a reading they have now taken and guess what, calculated the correct monthly payment as £23 per month the same amount I was paying before they decided to increase to £106 per month on estimated bills!
Thank you to all those who responded with positive and helpful comments, appreciated and believe my position has been vindicated.7 -
And have you now ensured that your billing address is correct - ie the property you reside at rather than the one which is lying empty for much of the time? That is probably the most valuable bit of information to come out of this thread, for you.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
