I don't know if anybody can help me with this it's nothing to do with saving money. I have a problem in which I have to record myself in bed overnight because I have sleep apnea and other illnesses. I had successfully been using a home Wi-Fi camera and an app and also had another camera setup up as a security camera in my house. I was saving all the recordings on the memory card not to the cloud storage that it had with the app. You'll have to bear with me because I'm not very good at this. after using it a couple of years I had tried a couple of different anti-virus on my phone which is Android and it said that the app wasn't safe if. I'm not quite sure if there is a way of recording without out using an app or something I don't know I'm total blank on this but I actually stopped using it as it said my phone was accessible through this app and it frightens me. What would be the easiest way to do it I have an Android phone and I also have a spare Android phone

If the app is not safe use a 2nd device or just dont use that device for banking etc.
I have had various devices from China with very questionable apps and software downloads. I put them on devices
that I dont connect to my main network and where I dont put any personal information.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...3 -
My android phone has a camera and with that I can take photos or video. Just go to 'camera' and press the video record button. Could you use that?
Don't do it on high resolution as you may use too much storage overnight.1 -
Why not buy a (used) video camera, one with a long recording capability?
If apps and security concern you, get a recorder that's totally offline1 -
