Anyone shop from here before? Looking on their website, they seem to be significantly cheaper than most other places and have good Trust Pilot scores.

I had a friend who ordered a bed from there. He was decently happy but his Ottoman was missing parts (he didn't bother chase it up).

On a separate matter, can anyone recommend what type of bed to get? I'm going for a Super King but every bed I've had in the past has broken. I'm therefore considering getting a divan instead of one with slats as I'm tired of the slate snapping and having to be replaced. Should Divans be better for a big guy nearing 300lbs who eventually breaks every bed he's' been on?

  • Haven't used that company , but in 2019 purchased a divan bed from Divan Base  Direct.
My take on things  ; the size of the bed has nothing to do with weight.
I went from a kingsize platform slatted bed ( which lasted many years) , to my present Double Size Divan . If you're used to a super king and have the room 👍. I'm in a smaller odd shaped bedroom , so double is fine for my requirements .
I too am of a big frame , and love the divan . ( I went for the 4 drawer option).

A couple of other thing to mention  if I may ; Get a new mattress while you're at it , unless you haven't had it long . Makes a difference . I purchased mattress separately . Diffferent types of mattresses available as we know . Horses for courses 🐎🐎.
I'm a side sleeper , and whereas I thought getting the hardest mattress as I'm a big guy would be the answer ..it wasn't . Medium firmnesss works well for me.

Don't forget the headboard ! May seem an extra expense, but essential unless you have a bed not designed for it . I paid extra for the headboard of my choice when I purchased my bed.
    Hope this helps...

I've not used the site you umentined but I can recommend these guys - https://www.bedworld.net/

They have stores scattered around the country I believe but we visited their factory showroom in Huddersfield as we live quite close. It was nothing fancy but the beds seem well built and very well priced. We wanted a king size and a single ottoman bed and as we were buying two, they gave us a discount. It ended up costing us £430 for both beds!

We've had them over a year and they are great. We bought mattresses from elsewhere as I wasn't conviced the mattress quality would be fantastic.
