Parcel Hero make unauthorised additional charges to debit card.

Hi.  I originally used ParcelHero for a courier delivery on December the 8th & was careful to get the correct quote (£21) for what was a large item.  Today, I have received an invoice for additional charges (£16) to my bank account via the account Mastercard debit card.  It is showing as pending.  The bank could do nothing to stop it & Mastercard contact details are non-existent.  Any thoughts?  Thank you. PH will procure that the Package is audited for size and weight upon collection using calibrating weighing and scanning equipment and in the event that the audit reveals a discrepancy, Additional Surcharges will apply. PH will be entitled to charge You immediately for such discrepancy and You authorise PH to invoice You and debit these Additional Surcharges directly from Your PH Credit in Your PH Account, the credit card or PayPal account used to make the original payment or where applicable, it shall be applied to Your PH Credit Account as owing, or if You do not have a PH Account or there is no PH Credit in Your PH Account, from the card or PayPal account used to pay for the Consignment. If the whole amount owed cannot be paid for whatever reason by these means, the amount outstanding shall be payable within seven (7) days as per Clause 12.11.

Have you still got all the dimensions and weight ?

You need to get in touch to find out why it was surcharged.  There have been several cases where the scanners measure 2 parcels together and calculate a surcharge based on that combined size.

Its not unauthorized. Read the terms and conditions.

They have to provide proof that they were charged for undeclared amounts. Likewise you have to provide proof, get it ready.
