Looks like the requirement to test upon return to the UK is to be scrapped very soon. Presumably the PLF will be scrapped for the fully vaccinated.1

Probably not, they will need a way of verifying if you have to do a return test or not and that will probably be the way they do it.Troytempest said:Looks like the requirement to test upon return to the UK is to be scrapped very soon. Presumably the PLF will be scrapped for the fully vaccinated.1 -
I have the flight number as we paid for extra leg room seats BUT will still wait till the week before we travel to fill in the required forms ,it is looking like we will save on booking 2 day tests when we return.NoodleDoodleMan said:Ganga said:Thanks to emmajones1976 and eskbanker for the replies ,we will apply for new certificates from the NHS and those might even show the booster jabs as well as the two previous jabs ,will leave the Pss Loc Forms till week before we travel ,again thanks. Thanks likewise to emmajones1976 and eskbanker for touching on an issue I raised here -I could not get an answer on the the barcode validity reduction from 12 to 3 months - when comparing the 2021 record (doses 1 and 2) I had printed off last year reference to the version (doses 2 and 3) as downloaded a couple of days ago.The EU recognition date effective from 1st Nov.2021 would explain that. The Scottish NHS paperwork indicates the barcodes are valid for 3 months from date of download and printing - is it different in other parts of the UK ?As for the Spanish paperwork, you need your flight number, and that is not always available or easy to find months in advance.0 -
Agreed and ( at the time of writing) your contact details from your PLF are used to notify you if you are a close contact of a positive case on the plane ( albeit that fully vaccinated travellers have the choice if to isolate or not )emmajones1976 said:

Other countries that haven’t required a Day 2 test (or equivalent)still require PLF for ALL passengers regardless of vaccination status so I would expect the PLF to be an ongoing requirement for sometime.0 -
Official now - no tests from 11th Feb but still need PLF0
