I dont know where to start. We had some windows from a well known window company. The surveyor came in May. The window didn't fit so we stopped the work. They remade the kitchen window but still doesn't fit. We have been left with an open window for all this time. It is still not done. I wrote and said we no longer wanted to continue with them and after 2 attempts we have had enough.i told them to take this window off the price and we pay the difference but they refuse saying we signed the contract. The one they did fit is also not complete with big gaps all the way around.Do I have any rights at all? Thank you in advance.

The widows are goods and if after 1 repair or replacement they still do not conform then you may exercise your final right to reject.

Fitting is a service and you have the right to a repeat service which it sounds as if they already have:

and have the right to a price reduction:

Have you paid un full? I assume from "We have been left with an open window for all this time" that you still don't have a widow there or is it the case that they have now fitted one and there is a disagreement about whether it is the right size?In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -
When you say did not fit, just how much did they not fit by. As UPVC are pretty much always a slack fit & have trims round them to fill the gap.Life in the slow lane0
