IIRC they all have to comply with the same standard/specification, so any difference between them will be minimal.

I've also never been able to choose- I just get whatever the local centres are giving out - I haven't ordered any online though - do you get an option which ones you can have?

Personally I don't care, I just use them as necessary and when I finish a box get another one.

After using all brands, my favorite is Surescreen cos it has gold written on it. Its also made in UK so proud to support local economy.

  • How do you get the choice?  I just take whatever the pharmacy has in stock, or I am sent

They are taliking about the tests for travel abroad. You cannot use the nHS ones for that. You have to buy privately.

Two of the four the op has listed are free NHS ones - and further into the discussion the op said they were all free - which was why I was a bit confused!

All are free. Depends on what the pharmacy has in stick. Yes I am talking about lft and not about airport tests

Ones dished out by a community van from the council that parks up in lay-by by work on Mondays are in a white and green box. They contain 20 tests. If they are there on Monday, I get another box. Give half a box to my parents.

I prefer the nasal only LFTs as the throat swab made me sick.
