Triple clubcard points on fuel

Although some independent retailers may well be more expensive, you don't usually see an empty one.

But the supermarkets have had an unrivalled position in the market for quite a while now, cheap petrol = more supermarket shoppers so you can afford to make a loss on petrol.

I'd quite happily buy my fuel from somewhere other than Tesco, but when the other two local stations have 10 pumps and one cashier, means there is always a queue.

Just got some petrol. No triple points of any kind. Wasn't overpriced though luckily and used a tesco clubcard money off voucher.

My Local Tesco is selling at the same prices as every other station in the area so it doesn't matter where I buy at the moment.

if they do it doesnt apply to where i live, we have 2 tescos who sell petrol at opposite side of my local town and they can have different prices on the petrol, it was in the local paper as people had filled up at one tesco pfs and the following day they noticed that the price for petrol at the other tesco pfs was different in price

Yes spent £33 and got 99 points it is the newish tesco extra store in cradley heath west midlands assumed it was all stores

Useful website for finding the lowest fuel prices up to 20miles from a specified postcode. Covers petrol, diesel, lpg etc.. not always dead upto date so worth calling first if your making a specific journey.

It's good but not always up-to-date as I have found out in the past. I think it relies on people buying from that particular station using some sort of card or something.

It's true you can get £0.15 per litre off. To do so you need to use three 5p coupons. They advertise coupons with some products you might buy, but when you check the price of the product it's massively expensive. In our Tesco you had to buy two packs of cheese to get a 5p per litre coupon, but the cheese was the most expensive on the shelves.
Like they say; there's nothing for free. Tesco is no different.
