Farmfoods Bolton Parking Eye submitted no defence to POPLA

Someone I know got a ticket in Farmfoods Bolton, I appealed on the usual points but also on the basis of the signage facing the wrong way at the entrance to the car park (sign faces into the car park) and also forbidding signage (as parked after 8.00pm when sign says not allowed).  Parking Eye didn't even submit a defence so they must know they're on dodgy ground with this one.

You mean evidence pack , not defence , you are the defendant ( the appellant )
  • Sorry was in a rush before The Apprentice started, needed a laugh! What I meant was they didn't even bother responding to my defence so hopefully helpful to anyone else who is considering whether to pay or appeal at this site?

Particularly useful in the context of 'Customer Only' signs that effectively mean, enter the car park for five or more minutes when the store is closed, NtK on its way.

    Worth remembering.

I read the thread that the PCN is cancelled - no PPC response to POPLA, ergo appeal upheld.
